President 's Message

Greetings!
First, I would like to express how grateful and honored I am to have the privilege of serving as President of the Lambda Psi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated for the 2026–2027 year at the University of Florida. I am immensely proud to be part of a chapter grounded in sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.
Since 1975, the Lambda Psi Chapter has worked to make a lasting impact on the University of Florida campus and throughout the greater Gainesville community. For more than 50 years, our chapter has remained committed to serving others, addressing community needs, and creating intentional programs centered on education, advocacy, and wellness.
All of our programs and services stem from our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
Our commitment to service is reflected through award-winning programs such as the Mind-Body-Soul Women’s Empowerment Conference, Gator Nation Field Day, along with our community garden initiative, and UnfiltHERed. Additionally, through our Ready, Set, Vote initiative, we promote voter education and participation throughout the greater Gainesville community.
As you explore our website, you will find more information about Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s rich history and the legacy of our chapter. You will also find information about our upcoming programs and events, along with ways to support our work. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. We can be reached via email at dstlambdapsi@yahoo.com or through the “Contact Us” section below.
We look forward to all the year ahead will bring. Stay tuned for what’s to come!
Forward with Purpose,
