President 's Message
First, I would like to express how honored and humbled I am to serve as the President of the Lambda Psi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for the 2023-2024 term here at the University of Florida. Since 1975, the Lambda Psi Chapter has been educating, supporting and uplifting the University of Florida campus and the greater Gainesville community.
All of our programming stems from our Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
Our chapter has impacted the community through dynamic, award-winning programs such as Gator Nation Field Day, Mind-Body-Soul Women’s Empowerment Conference, Financial Fortitude Forums, Arts Mystery Dinner, collaborations with youth mentorship initiatives, and more! We look forward to continued service in the Gainesville community through our latest community garden initiative as well as other projects that are on the way.
